2023年全國體育場地設施快速增加，人均體育場地面積達到2.89平方米；健身步道達到37.1萬公里，比2019年增長了107%。國家體育總局稱，今年將繼續深入實施全民健身國家戰略，不斷豐富群眾身邊的體育賽事活動和全民健身場地設施服務與供給。

The number of sports facilities across the country increased rapidly in 2023, with the per capita area of sports venues reaching 2.89 square meters. Additionally, the total length of fitness trails reached 371,000 km, up 107 percent from 2019. China will further promote extensive fitness-for-all activities this year, pledging continuous efforts to expand the supply of sports events, fitness venues, and facilities in local communities, according to the General Administration of Sport of China.

全民健身是人民幸福生活的重要基礎，全民健身運動的普及程度是衡量一個國家現代化程度的重要標志。服務群眾，滿足群眾日益增長的健身、健康需求只有進行時，沒有休止符。未來，全民健身必將在提高人民健康水平、促進人的全面發展、推動經濟社會發展、展示國家文化軟實力等方面發揮更加重要的作用，在全面建設社會主義現代化國家的新征程中扮演更為重要的角色。
