3月5日，第十三屆全國人民代表大會第五次會議開幕，國務院總理李克強向大會作政府工作報告。李克強在政府工作報告中提出了今年發展主要預期目標，其中包括國內生產總值增長5.5%左右，城鎮新增就業1100萬人以上，糧食產量保持在1.3萬億斤以上等。

China has set its economic growth target at around 5.5 percent in 2022.The GDPtarget is one of the key development goals laid out in a government work report delivered by Premier LiKeqiangto the national legislature, which began its annual session on Saturday.The other main projected targets for development this year include creating over 11 million new urban jobsandkeeping grain output of over 650 milliontonnes.
